1 Residential Asbestos Removal Residential asbestos removal covers the bonded sheeting, eaves, roofing, wet-area walls, vinyl backing, fencing and sheds found in Queensland homes built before 1990. Total Asbestos is licensed for both bonded and friable material, removes under containment, and issues an air clearance certificate before the site is handed back. 2 Commercial Asbestos Removal Commercial asbestos removal covers offices, retail tenancies, hospitality fit-outs and strata common property, sequenced around trading hours and tenant access. Work is delivered to a written scope with documented disposal and an air clearance certificate on completion. 3 Industrial Asbestos Removal Industrial asbestos removal covers factories, warehouses, plant rooms and manufacturing facilities, where the material is often at height, in service risers, or bound up with live plant. Work is scoped against shutdown windows, site inductions and confined-space requirements. 4 Same-Day Asbestos Response When asbestos has been broken, weathered or accidentally disturbed, Total Asbestos responds the same day during business hours — Monday to Saturday, 6:30am to 5:00pm. The first priority is containing the area so fibres stop spreading, then assessing what has to be removed. 5 Asbestos Testing & Consultation Asbestos cannot be identified by eye — the fibres are microscopic, and materials that look identical can differ entirely. Testing takes a controlled sample for laboratory analysis, and consultation covers what the result means for the work you're planning. 6 Asbestos Soil Remediation Asbestos-contaminated soil is common on sites where an old building was demolished, burnt or dumped on, and it surfaces most often during redevelopment or excavation. Remediation means assessing the extent of the contamination, then removing or encapsulating the affected ground and validating the result.
